Singer, Sister Derby on Friday, May 3, 2024, joined her ex-lover Medikal on stage at his 02 Arena Concert which happened in London.
The former lovers performed on stage causing the fans to go gaga.
She explained that, Medikal wanted her to perform their collaboration, “Too Risky,” and as a professional, she accepted the invitation without hesitation.
In a recently aired interview with YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon, Sister Derby stated that her appearance was to support her colleague and friend.
“It wasn’t to cause anything. It was basically to support my friend, my sweet ex. I wanted to come and support. He also wanted me on the show, so he invited me. I didn’t have any problem with that because we have made music together, and he’s my friend,” she said.
In response to questions about performing on stage with her ex-boyfriend, Sister Derby asserted that their working relationship goes beyond their romantic past.
She said that since they had already shared a stage together after their breakup at a number of occasions in Ghana, their combined presence in London shouldn’t spark any concern.
She said, “Oh, why and how,” in response to a question about whether they had made up, suggesting that their romantic phase was still open.
She did not hesitate to clarify, though, that they remain friends and will always be adorable ex-couples.
Sister Derby added that even though he cheated on her with Fella Makafui, his current estranged wife, she is not a sadist to celebrate their conflict.
She added that, she has no hand in their marital issues and that the cause of their rift can only be addressed by the couples themselves.
