Versatile Ghanaian entertainer, Mr. Drew, has dismissed the connection between the Grammy CEO and Ghanaians’ success in winning the Grammy award.
Dentaa Amoateng and the GUBA awards program helped make the Grammy CEO’s recent arrival in Ghana possible.
Mr. Drew told Zionfelix outside of a dinner meeting with the Grammy CEO that Mason Harvey’s presence in Ghana is not a ticket for Ghanaian artists to win the Grammy,
According to him, the purpose of the music executive’s visit to the nation is primarily to foster collaborations, create industry capacity, and provide information on how to win a Grammy.
He noted that Mason Harvey’s visit to Ghana doesn’t make it easier for Ghanaians to get a Grammy despite what many people think.
Rocky Dawuni and Fuse ODG are just a couple of the artists from Ghana who have performed at the Grammys, but there have been many cries in recent years for an addition.
