MEN ARE NO DIFFERENT – Reggie Rockstone Reacts to Viral Russian–Ghanaian Women Videos

Hiplife pioneer says Ghanaian men would act the same under similar circumstances, urges public to stop shaming women

Ghanaian hiplife legend Reggie Rockstone has weighed in on the heated online debate surrounding viral videos of a Russian man allegedly engaging in sexual encounters with several Ghanaian women.

The clips, which have been circulating widely on social media, reportedly show the foreign national approaching women in public spaces before taking them to his residence, sparking outrage, jokes, and intense commentary across digital platforms.

In a video shared on February 13, 2026, Rockstone dismissed calls for public shaming of the women involved, arguing that men are equally culpable when presented with similar opportunities.

“If you think I’m going to chastise our sisters because they slept with an uncircumcised small Russian penis, you are mistaken,” he said bluntly.

The veteran musician added that Ghanaian men would likely behave no differently, joking that many would jump at the chance if a wealthy foreign woman offered prospects such as travel opportunities.

“Yes, the sisters got caught, but the brothers should calm down. Don’t get too happy about it. A lot of Ghanaian men too would be in trouble if the tables were turned,” he remarked.

Rockstone also attempted to unpack why some women might agree to accompany a stranger shortly after meeting him, attributing it to a mix of social and economic factors.

“This is a mixture of colonial mentality, poverty, curiosity, Ghanaian hospitality, and other influences,” he said.

He cautioned against assuming that every woman seen in the videos necessarily engaged in sexual activity, urging the public to avoid sweeping judgments.

Touching on concerns that the Russian man may have exposed partners to sexually transmitted infections, including HIV, Rockstone said such behaviour if proven would be extremely dangerous.

“If that part is true, then that’s like serial killer behaviour,” he noted, adding that he hopes the claims turn out to be false.

The controversy continues to generate strong reactions online, with many Ghanaians divided over issues of accountability, consent, poverty, and double standards in how men and women are judged in similar situations.
