Yvonne took to tweet to make her call after red carpet pictures from the just ended Golden Movie Awards 2017 flooded social media over the weekend.
“Listen, let’s put in same energy to bring back the dead industry rather than slay on carpets cuz truthfully y’all know there’s no work!”, Yvonne tweeted.
However, Nana Akua Addo doesn’t seem to agree with Yvonne’s attempt to ridicule red carpet slayers like her. Nana Akua took to her Instagram page to respond to Yvonne’s comment.
“RED CARPET is an industry called Fashion(SLAY) YES!!Either reinvent and help the industry grow or become a Commentator ???? Technology is making video and content the future. The industry is for the TALENT. TALENT will keep you relevant in the industry long LEGS may get weak with time. CHANGE is here if you can’t embrace it, join them “if you can’t beat them !!!!! IF slaying is not Working for you, have you tried running ???? with those long legs? It’s called reinvent either ways Ghana is winning My break time is up back to class….”
Nana Akua Addo has over pass few years played on different red carpet event both in Ghana and international. The most recent event she attended was the just ended BET Awards 2017 in Los Angeles and she believes slaying on the red carpet is as important as moving movies.
