Musician and entrepreneur, Mzbel, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, has responded to accusations that only 12 people showed up for Nana Tonardo’s Meet & Greet.
Afia Schwarzenegger, claimed only 12 individuals showed up for the meet and greet, meaning Nana Tonardo only earned GHC 600.
However, Mzbel, whose restaurant hosted the Meet and Greet, defended Tonardo and clarified a few points for the wider public.
She clarified that Tonardo had to charge for the Meet and Greet in order to prevent a stampede of his followers from entering the venue where the program was being held.
Mzbel continued, “Second, it was Nana Tonardo’s birthday that day, so we wanted to have fun and not worry out on such a day.”
She went on to say that anything offered for free draws all kinds of people, including liars and thieves.
