Fiifi Boafo, the Spokesperson for the Bawumia’s running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka NAPO has rendered an explanation for the ‘blunder’ NAPO made at a recent campaign tour.
In a surprising political turn of events, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as Napo, caused confusion and amusement among Ghanaians by publicly encouraging voters to support former President John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming elections.
While on the campaign tour to galvanize support for both himself and the NPP, Napo did something unexpected.
While gripping Mr Robert’s hand, the NPP candidate for the region made direct eye contact with the crowd and said, “Support both Mahama and Robert!”
Reacting to this, per a report by Starrfm, Fiifi Boafo indicated that NAPO referenced Mahama in his campaign not to advocate for him but to remind Ghanaians of his poor performance during his presidency.
