Legendary NBA player Kobe Bryant has died in a California helicopter crash, a report said Sunday.
He was 41.
According to reports, five people have died in the crash, with nobody on board surviving. An investigation into the incident – which happened on Sunday morning, January 26, 2020 – is underway.
According to reports, the helicopter went up in a ball of fire after hitting the ground. He is survived by his wife Vanessa and their three daughters, who are thought to have not been on board.
Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, was not among those aboard the chopper, according to the report.
Bryant starred for two decades with the Los Angeles Lakers, winning five championships and making 18 All-Star Games before retiring after the 2016 season.
