NDC GOVERNMENT HAS NOT DONE ANYTHING EXCEPTIONAL IN THEIR FIRST YEAR IN OFFICE — Nana B

Nana Boakye argued that despite several promises made by the government, Ghanaians have yet to see bold or transformative actions

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has taken a swipe at the ruling government, with Henry Nana Boakye, the party’s Director of Communications, stating that the NDC administration has not done anything exceptional in its first year in office.

Speaking on Okay FM, Nana Boakye argued that despite several promises made by the government, Ghanaians have yet to see bold or transformative actions that clearly distinguish the NDC’s performance over the past year.

He claimed that key sectors of the economy and governance have not experienced the level of progress the party projected while in opposition.

According to him, expectations were high following the NDC’s return to power, but the outcomes so far, in his view, fall short of what could be described as extraordinary.

His comments add to the intensifying political debate as the NPP continues to scrutinise the government’s record, while the NDC maintains that it is laying a solid foundation for long-term national development.

The exchanges signal an early build-up of political tension as both major parties position themselves in the court of public opinion.
