NDC WILL USE ARREST TO DIVIDE US BUT BE RESOLUTE BEHIND BAWUMIA TO WIN 2028 ELECTIONS — Afenyo-Markin Urges NPP Members

Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has urged his fellow members of the New Patriotic Party to not back down in order to get the government to give farmers their money back,
He claims that in order to divert attention, the government will attempt to frighten them in the upcoming week by making arrests, but NPP members must not be sidetracked.
Recorded by mynewsgh.com, he said;
“A bag of cocoa was Ghc 3, 625 but today, the NDC government has reduced the price of cocoa to Ghc 2,580. What I want you to tell the NDC government is that it is not about the big English they are speaking in Accra and on social media with CSOs. They should pay cocoa farmers.
Cocoa farmers have lost ten million per bag, and that is the crux of the matter we are talking about. This week, Parliament will be very busy this week because cocoa farmers have to be paid.,” he said.
He continued, “Colleagues, they will try and divide us and come with all manner of arrests. Every now and then, when their back is against the wall, they will come and arrest. It is not a crime if you are a politician and you get arrested. Let’s be firm and resolute behind Dr Bawumia so that we can win the 2028 elections.”
