NEXTGEN INFRACO REFUTES CLAIMS: Tony Mintah Not CEO, Company Issues Official Clarification

Accra, October 24, 2024 — NextGen InfraCo, a leading supplier of 5G infrastructure, has formally clarified the identity of its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) following incorrect reports that surfaced during a recent incident involving one of the company’s senior managers.

In an official statement released today, the management of NextGen InfraCo stated that Mr. Tony Mintah, who was previously reported as missing and later found by the Ghana Police Service, is not the CEO of the company. The media had inaccurately referred to Mr. Mintah as the CEO following his disappearance, leading to confusion.

NextGen InfraCo’s management confirmed that Mr. Mintah holds a senior management position within the company but stressed that the role of CEO has always been held by Mr. Tenu Awoonor since the company’s inception.

“We kindly urge the media and the general public to take note of this clarification and correct any misinformation moving forward,” the statement read.

The clarification comes in the wake of heightened public interest following Mr. Mintah’s brief disappearance and reappearance, which led to multiple media outlets erroneously attributing the company’s leadership role to him.

NextGen InfraCo thanked the public for their cooperation and understanding in this matter, reiterating the importance of accurate information, especially in matters of public interest and corporate communication.

As the company continues to lead in the 5G space, it remains committed to transparency and effective communication.
