Two outspoken media personalities, Mmeranteɛhene Wereko Brobbey and Yaw Boamah, have ignited fierce debate after boldly declaring that lifelong fidelity in men is a myth.
Speaking on Asetena Pa Nkomo, a popular relationship and lifestyle talk show hosted by Akoto Mansa, the duo argued that men are inherently wired to desire more than one woman, challenging the traditional expectations of monogamous marriage.
“No man can stay with just one woman for the rest of his life,” Wereko Brobbey stated unapologetically. “If you see a man who claims he’s been faithful to his wife all these years, check him well—he probably has piles or something’s not functioning right.”
His provocative remarks sparked mixed reactions, especially online, where clips of the conversation have since gone viral.
Yaw Boamah, who sat beside Brobbey during the discussion, doubled down on the claim, stating that societal norms often ignore historical and even biblical realities about men and multiple partners.
“The same Bible people quote to promote monogamy also tells the stories of David and Abraham—men who had several wives and were still loved by God,” Boamah said.
According to the two, the modern definition of cheating is flawed and should be reevaluated.“Cheating is when you disrespect your partner not when a man follows his nature,” Brobbey explained. “Women need to understand this and stop fighting something that’s built into male biology.”
