‘NO PRESIDENT, NOT EVEN YOUR KWAME NKRUMAH HAS DEVELOPED GHANA LIKE AKUFO ADDO’ – NPP Running Mate, Matthew Opoku Prempeh

The newly announced running mate of the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is placing President Akufo-Addo on a high pedestal.

Dr. Opoku Prempeh declared that no president has developed the nation like President Akufo-Addo.

This includes Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, whose tenure he believes saw fewer accomplishments compared to President Akufo-Addo’s.

He said this during his unveiling ceremony in Kumasi on Tuesday.

“Since independence from 1957 till today, we’ve not had any president that has helped Ghana like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. I say from 1957 till today, you can bring your Kwame Nkrumah… no president who has protected Ghana and moved the country forward like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo,” he explained.

This comes shortly after Otumfuo admonished Dr Opoku Prempeh, his grandson, to remain loyal to Dr Bawumia and heed his advice.
