According to Ghanaian singer Sista Afia, none of the male musicians have had the guts to ask her to marry them.
Since Sista Afia disclosed her relationship status and the reasons behind her continued single status, she has been a social media sensation.
During an interview with Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz, Sista Afia claimed that growing up as a young lady, she has always wanted to be married at age 21 but weddings these days are tasteless.
“I was a young girl and I remember telling myself that I would get married at the age of 21; I’d have twins at the age of 24, and another set of twins later.”
“I was very young and I was very naïve and I didn’t know much about marriage and life, but now I do I’m not in a rush”, she said.
She claimed that now that she has matured and gained a greater understanding of life, her former remarks about never marrying a male celebrity have been retracted.
