New National Executives for the ruling New New Patriotic Party (NPP) will be chosen by a vote of more than 6,000 party delegates.
Today, July 16, 2022, is likely to see the start of the election at the Accra Sports Stadium, which is anticipated to bring delegates from every corner of the nation.
The conference is in compliance with the party’s rules, which call for the election of New National Executives every four years to run the organization.
For the roles of National Chairman, Vice Chairman, General Secretary, Organiser, YoutOrganiser, Treasurer, Women’s Organiser, and Nasara Coordinator, the NPP Elections Committee initially approved 48 candidates.
Two of the applicants who had been cleared to run later withdrew.
