Gospel musician, Sonnie Badu has shared his difficulties after a major accident at his residence in 2023.
In a sincere chat with actress Nana Ama McBrown on her show Onua Showtime, Badu talked about rumors that the accident was a publicity stunt for his show Rhythms of Africa 2023.
He recounted the terrifying specifics of the accident, describing how he fell on a staircase while tidying up his large home, resulting in the amputation of two toes on his right foot when his leg became trapped in a metal railing.
Hurried to the medical facility, he was informed by medical professionals that reconnecting his toes was not a viable choice.
Following the accident, Sonnie Badu used crutches to go to church and required help to be carried to radio appearances because of his mobility issues.
He openly confessed to experiencing a battle with depression for half a year while dealing with the emotional and physical impact of the accident.
