Patrick Yaw Boamah, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, has announced his intention to challenge the results of the parliamentary election in court.
follows the Electoral Commission (EC) declaring Abdulai Abu Baba Abubakar Sadiq of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as the winner.
He is quoted as saying;
“I am a believer in due process and I am taking the right steps to legally reverse this fraudulent declaration. I therefore urge all New Patriotic Party members, friends, well-wishers to remain calm.
