PERFORMING ON POLITICAL PLATFORMS HELPS ME RETRIEVE MY E-LEVY – King Paluta

King Paluta, a sensational musician who has won awards, has advised Ghanaians to stop criticizing artists who perform at political events.

In a recent interview, monitored by ghanaweb. King Paluta believes that appearing on political stages does not always indicate endorsement of a specific political party.

“Aside business they should know that we are not enemies. It is us against them. If a brother is winning we have to be happy for them. Do you know the E-levy I’ve paid? I’m always sending money. If I shoot a video and send GH¢50,000 to the movie director, I pay an e-levy of GH¢ 5,000.”

“So if I have an opportunity to get some money that will make up for the losses I’ve made, you say I should not go? What are you talking about? They should stop attacking us,” he said.
