Photos: ABRAHAM ATTAH GIVES 10,000 TOMS SHOES TO CHARITY

Ghanaian International child actor Abraham Attah has finally taken delivery of 10,000 pairs of shoes from international designer Toms meant for charity in Ghana.

The “Beast of no Nation” star disclosed this at a press conference on Thursday morning August 25, 2016 at Gold Coast Restaurant in Accra.

It would be recalled that Abraham Attah wore a pair of black Toms shoes during his presentation at the 2016 Oscars in February this year and after he caught the attention of the world, the company promised to make 10,000 shoes available and true to their words the shoes have currently arrived in Ghana.

Giving details about the charity project, Abraham Attah’s manager, Mawuko Kuadzi told the media the Toms shoes are in Ghana, and ready for donation, adding that some of the shoes will be given to students of Attah’s former school, Ashiaman Primary and JSS, and also refugees at the Buduburam refugee camp, who were part of the movie, Beasts Of No Nation and other charity homes.

Abraham on his part thanked Toms for their kind gesture. “I want to say ‘Thank You’ to Toms for giving me this opportunity to give out 10,000 shoes to give to the needy in Ghana.” 

Present at press conference to support Abraham were some cast members from “Beast of No Nation” Ama K. Abebrese , Striker, Justice among others as well as Bernice Dapaah, a representative of Bright Future Generation, an NGO who represents Toms in Ghana and members of Abraham Attah’s management team.
