Two drivers were detained by the Greater Accra Regional Police Command for reportedly possessing a brand-new male human head.
Following an accident involving the car they were riding in, Samuel Amemasi, 32, and Joseph Kwesi Mawuwone, 23, were detained at Hobor near Amanfrom in the Ga South Municipality on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at around 8 o’clock in the evening.
According to a report by Pulsegh.com, the human head was hidden in a bag inside the vehicle’s back seat and came to light after the somersaulting car landed in a ditch.
According to eyewitnesses, the Amanfrom police were alerted right away, which resulted in the arrest of one person but later led to the arrest of another who had managed to flee the scene.
According to a witness who talked with the Daily Guide, the two suspects (whose identities have been suppressed) were traveling from Kasoa to Amasaman in a Toyota Corrolla Taxi cab with the license plate GW 5532-21.
He claimed that despite the two men evading a police barricade, no officers inspected their car.
When the drivers arrived at the Hobor region, they tried to avoid a pothole; as a result, the car summersaulted and came to rest in a ditch.
He said “We rushed to save occupants in the vehicle, but to our surprise, we saw a fresh human head, concealed in a bag that got torn as a result of the accident.
“We immediately called on the Amanfrom police for assistance.”
