The Ghana Police Service has launched an inquiry into an event where a group of approximately 15 men reportedly broke into and damaged the office and home of the Minister of Communication and Digitalization, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful.
In a statement issued on December 9, the police announced that the Crime Scene Management team had visited the site as part of the continuing investigation into the incident.
“Currently, a targeted intelligence-led operation is ongoing to get the suspects arrested to face justice, and we assure the public that we will get them.
“Meanwhile. the Police leadership is in contact with her, and security at her office and residence has been beefed up to ensure her safety.”
Unidentified persons reportedly trespassed into the office of Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the departing Member of Parliament for the Ablekuma West Constituency, taking multiple items and inflicting considerable damage.
