President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has responded to criticisms after he recently commissioned the Agyemang Prempeh I International Airport in the Ashanti Region, on Friday, May 10, 2024.
Before the facility was put into service, he claims that several people ridiculed and criticized him, saying that he wouldn’t be able to commission it as he had claimed. Nevertheless, he has persisted in proving them wrong.
Speaking during the commissioning, he said “May God continue to bless Prempeh I International Airport, Kumasi and the Asanteman, and may God bless our homeland Ghana and make her great and strong.”
“… Let me add this in our local dialect; people said I can’t do it. They were all lies, 419 but every time, I disgrace them. I do it and I’ll continue to do it before the end of the world,” he said in a video shared by GHOne TV on the X app.
