‘PRESEC HAS NOW BECOME A BREEDING GROUND FOR HOMOSEXUALITY AND IT’S FILLED WITH GAYS’ – Serwaa Amihere Esq. Alleges
Viral video sparks backlash as media personality and lawyer targets NSMQ participants

Media personality and lawyer Serwaa Amihere Esq. has come under public criticism following the circulation of a viral video in which she is heard making controversial remarks about students of Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (PRESEC), alleging the institution has become a “breeding ground” for homosexuality.
In the video, sighted by Nkonkonsa.com, Serwaa Amihere Esq. claims that PRESEC is “filled with gays,” and singles out participants of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), stating that the way some students present themselves gives what she described as a “gayish” impression.
She further alleged that the all-male school is a hotspot for homosexual behaviour, saying, “PRESEC has now become a breeding ground for homosexuality.” While acknowledging that such acts occur across society including in churches, media houses, offices, and mixed schools she claimed it is more prevalent at PRESEC.
The comments have triggered a wave of backlash, particularly from PRESEC alumni, known as Presecans, who have taken to social media to condemn the remarks as discriminatory and damaging to the reputation of one of Ghana’s most prestigious secondary schools.
As of now, Serwaa Amihere Esq. has not issued any official statement addressing the video or the growing public reaction to her comments.
