PRESIDENT KUFFOUR FIRST GOT 39% BUT LATER WON SO I WILL ALSO WIN 2028 ELECTION — Bawumia

The former vice president, Dr. Bawumia, expressed optimism about winning the 2028 elections.

The ex-vice president mentioned this during his address at the NPP’s “Thank You” tour that recently took place in Kumasi.

Dr. Bawumia mentioned that even though some are joking with him and believe he can never be president in Ghana, he views the situation optimistically.

The ex-president stated that he thinks history will repeat itself in the 2028 general election.

He stated that former president Kuffour failed in his initial bid to become the president of Ghana.

He disclosed that the previous president received 39% of the votes during his initial bid to become Ghana’s president.

As he neared the ex-president, Dr. Bawumia mentioned that he had heard the ex-president faced ridicule when he initially lost his first attempt.

He mentioned that President Kuffour informed him he had ignored all the negative remarks made about him.

Although he was counselled to abandon his aspiration of becoming president, Dr. Bawumia stated that President Kuffour still contested and ultimately succeeded in becoming Ghana’s next president.
