Entertainment analyst, Arnold Asamoah has weighed in on the ongoing controversy between popular Ghanaian broadcaster Kwasi Kyei-Darkwah (KKD) and his detractors over the news that his son is gay.
Images and videos appeared on social media in July 2023 depicting Darkwah Kyei-Darkwah, KKD’s son, organizing a gay rights protest in the United Kingdom. KKD later spoke out in favor of his son’s sexual orientation, underlining that he has no influence over his son’s identification and calling for an end to the insults.
Arnold voiced his conviction that the ongoing critiques are linked to KKD’s continual monitoring of the administration during a debate with MzGee on UTV’s “United Showbiz” program.
