“RACIST” AND “NO VAR” TRENDS ON TWITTER AS THE PUBLIC CALLS ON FIFA TO SUSPEND REFEREE ISMAIL ELFATH

People on social media have voiced their ire at referee Ismail Elfath for his actions against the Ghana Black Stars on the field.

Ismail Elfath, the referee, has been called out for suspension by the Federation International de Football Association (FIFA) after he gave Portugal a penalty.

The Africa Soccer Zone has dragged referee Ismail Elfath over his racist attitude portrayed on the pitch yesterday. According to the African Soccer Zone, the referee does not deserve the award he received recently as the “Best Referee of the year”. It described the referee as a racist.
