REDUCE THE COST OF DNA TESTS IN GHANA – Actor Big Akwes Appeals To President John Mahama

Actor Big Akwes has urged the government to make DNA and paternity tests more affordable.

He believes that reducing these costs would help men, including himself, avoid the shock and heartbreak of discovering that the children they thought were theirs are not.

In an interview with Max TV, Big Akwes highlighted cases to support his plea.

He referred to Odartey Lamptey, the former Black Stars captain, who learned that three of his children were not biologically his, as well as a Kumasi pastor who found out that three out of his four children were not his own.

Big Akwes hopes that President John Dramani Mahama will address this issue during his presidency by reducing the costs of DNA testing.

He voiced this appeal while sharing that four women claim he is the father of their children.

He also emphasized that wives should not feel threatened by their husbands’ requests for DNA tests.

If wives are confident in their faithfulness, such requests should not be a source of worry.
