Patricia Asiedu, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, the general overseer of Heaven Way Ministries International, has boldly dared Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah to report her to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, if he dares to do so.
Speaking during an interview with GHPage TV on November 26, 2024, Nana Agradaa alleged that Rev. Owusu-Bempah is already entangled in a legal matter with the police. She insinuated that if he proceeds with his threats to report her, the IGP might turn the tables and arrest him instead.
“He is bragging, but he can’t do anything to me,” Agradaa declared. “He hasn’t even made a formal case against me, yet he is threatening to have me arrested this week. He acts as if he wrote the Ghanaian constitution. In front of me, he is a nobody. I have audios of him insulting me and claiming he can’t forgive me for our past issues, even though I apologised.”
Throwing down the gauntlet, she added, “If he is truly a man, I dare him to report me to the police and see who gets arrested instead.”
Agradaa also took the opportunity to label Rev. Owusu-Bempah a “fake man of God,” referring to his prophecy about John Dramani Mahama winning the 2021 elections. “Recently, he declared a fake prophecy about Mahama winning the elections. When I received a prophecy about Dr. Bawumia’s victory, I delivered it myself. But because he is a liar, he had to send someone to deliver his false prophecy to Mahama.”
Rev. Owusu-Bempah’s Retaliation
In a previous statement, Rev. Owusu-Bempah vowed to ensure Nana Agradaa’s arrest following her public criticisms. Agradaa, a vocal supporter of NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, had accused Owusu-Bempah of spreading false prophecies and claimed he was predicting an NDC victory in the 2024 elections.
In response, Owusu-Bempah alleged that Agradaa is being paid by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to defame him and discredit his prophecies. “That woman, Agradaa, I will make sure she is arrested this week. If it comes down to it, I will personally go to the police headquarters,” he asserted.
The History of Feud
The ongoing feud between Rev. Owusu-Bempah, founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, and Nana Agradaa dates back several years. In 2021, their conflict escalated into legal battles, with Owusu-Bempah and six others facing 11 criminal charges, including offensive conduct, threats of death, and conspiracy to commit violence.
At the time, Agradaa accused Owusu-Bempah and his associates of storming her residence, brandishing weapons, and threatening her life. The alleged confrontation followed Agradaa’s public remarks, which Owusu-Bempah found insulting.
The feud continues to capture public attention, with both figures frequently trading accusations and threats. As the drama unfolds, it remains unclear whether either party will take formal legal action.
