The said report indicated that Hon. Francis Xavier Sosu sought asylum overseas engineered by the United States government following threats to his life in the course of his work.
It stated that the threats were lined to his opposition to the anti- LGBTQ+ bill that is being deliberated on in Ghana’s Parliament.
Lawyers of Hon. Xavier Sosu have, however, debunked the reports.
The Editor-in-Chief after taking a cursory look at the contents of the story realized it contained some slanderous materials and allegations against the Honorable Member of Parliament.
The report was, however, untrue and misinformed the public and on the basis of this the editorial team wished to retract and apologize unreservedly to Hon. Francis Xavier Sosu for any harm caused as a result of the publication.
