Musician, Kurl Songx has sparked renewed conversations about his song Jennifer Lomotey, which was released seven(7) years ago and caused controversies.
Following the 2017 release of the song, the residents of Kroboland, especially the youth, were angered by a particular lyric by Sarkodie.
The angry youth accused the rapper of making a disrespectful remark about their culture and demanded an apology.
Seven years later, the issue comes up again and Kurl Songx, who worked with Sarkodie on the song, pointed out that the Krobo youth had misunderstood the lyrics.
He said Sarkodie was praising them and even the Krobo women should be happy because of Sarkodie’s compliments.
