SARKODIE NOT PERFORMING AT THE OLYMPIC OPENING CEREMONY – DJ Mensah Clarifies

DJ Mensah, Sarkodie’s official disc jockey, has clarified his statement regarding Sarkodie’s potential performance at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games opening ceremony.

Yesterday, it was announced on multiple media outlets that the rapper from Tema was set to perform at the opening event of the Olympics this year.

After giving an interview on Asaase FM, DJ Mensah explained the schedule planned for him and the rapper.

However, DJ Mensah recently clarified in a tweet that he did not claim Sarkodie would be performing at the Paris 2024 Olympics opening ceremony.

He said that there is a possibility of a concert in Paris during the Olympics, but not at the opening ceremony.

He posted: “Let me clarify this before I’m misinterpreted: There “MIGHT” be an event in Paris around the same time the Olympics is happening, but it’s *NOT” during the opening ceremony. This is to provide more clarification on what is circulating.”
