Ghanaian rapper and BET award-winner, Michael Owusu Addo professionally known as Sarkodie has inked a juicy partnership with German multinational corporation Adidas to drive Africa’s creative economy.
According to Ghbase.com the partnership deal kicked off on a sound footing after Adidas’ representative in Ghana (Nutmeg) made an exclusive appearance on Sarkodie’s “No Pressure” album listening session in Kumasi.
Sarkodie’s initiative is a follow-up to last year’s highly successful Writing Camp, which provided a platform for emerging creative artistes to curate and share their writing creativity.
The collaboration is also linked to Nutmeg’s Creators Programme, in which creators are encouraged to make a statement and leave their mark alongside inspiring celebrity talent in music, sports, and fashion.
The innovation is a celebration of the brand’s global member community as well as a chance to bring people together through its curated program of digital experiences.
Eagle Plug Entertainment, a modern entertainment company that provides world-class solutions for the African entertainment ecosystem, is curating this collaboration.
