Ghanaian rap superstar Sarkodie is set to make history by taking his flagship Rapperholic concert to London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall for the first time in March 2026.
The landmark event, scheduled for March 6, 2026, will see one of Africa’s most celebrated hip-hop artists perform at the iconic London venue known for hosting world-class musical and cultural performances.
Rapperholic, which began as an annual concert in Ghana inspired by Sarkodie’s 2012 album of the same name, has grown into one of the country’s most anticipated musical events, recently drawing massive crowds at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi despite challenging weather conditions.
The London edition is expected to attract fans from across the UK, Europe, and beyond, marking another significant step in the international expansion of Ghana’s entertainment industry. Over the past decade, Sarkodie born Michael Owusu Addo—has risen to become one of Africa’s most influential rappers, with numerous awards including a BET Hip-Hop Award and multiple international collaborations.
The announcement has generated considerable excitement among the diaspora and international fans, reinforcing Sarkodie’s position as a global ambassador for Ghanaian and African hip-hop.
