The Foreign Affairs Minister, Hon. Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa, has met with the self-acclaimed King of Igbo, Mr. Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu, over concerns about his alleged plan to build the Igbo Kingdom in Ghana.
The Nigerian national has clarified that the issue stems from a 2013 interview where he made known the plans, an act he deeply regrets and has since abandoned.
He offered sincere apologies to the Ghanaian people, local authorities, and the general public over the controversy, stressing that no such plan has and will not materialize.
