Dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known in showbiz as Shatta Wale, and three accomplices are scheduled to reappear in court tomorrow, Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
Shatta Wale and three others were arrested last month for fabricating a story about being shot.
The four accused were remanded in prison custody for one week before the Accra Circuit Court granted Shatta Wale self-recognizance bail, while the other three were granted GH100,000 bail each on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.
Meanwhile, hip hop artist Samuel Frimpong, also known as Medikal, is scheduled to return to court on Tuesday to continue his trial following his alleged brandishing of a weapon in a social media video.
A circuit court judge in Accra remanded Medikal into prison custody for 5 days on October 22, 2021.
He was later granted bail in the amount of GH100,000 with one surety. Medikal, who is charged with displaying arms and ammunition, has pleaded not guilty.
