“SHE’S FITTING TO DO IT AGAIN, WE GON SEE”– Efya Responds To Church Members Celebrating Agradaa’s Freedom
Vocal powerhouse Efya has commented on the celebrations that followed the release of controversial preacher Patricia Asiedua, also known as Agradaa, raising questions about the increased fervour of her supporters.
She responded after a video of Heavenway Champions International Ministry members celebrating on the church grounds appeared online.
The video, shared with the caption, “Spirit filled atmosphere at the Heavenway Champions International Ministry premises as members and supporters gather to worship in celebration of the release of their founder, Nana Agradaa,” captured scenes of singing, prayer and jubilant worship.
According to zionfelix.net however, Efya was not impressed.
Responding to the video, the award-winning vocalist posted a string of eye-roll emojis before adding, “She’s fitting to do it to yall again.. n again.. we gon see ..!!”
Since then, the succinct but direct comment has sparked discussion on social media, with some people supporting her scepticism and others accusing her of being contemptuous of the church’s adherents.
Agradaa has been in the public glare due to her legal issues and eventual release, and the joyous scenes at her church indicate that some of her supporters are still steadfast.
Efya’s remark implies that not everyone is certain that lessons have been learnt or that the chapter has ended.
