SINGER, R. KELLY SENTENCED TO 30 YEARS IN PRISON

Embattled R&B icon R. Kelly was given a 30-year prison term on Wednesday, months after he was found guilty on all nine charges in a prominent s3x trafficking case.

The punishment was given by U.S. District Court Judge Ann Donnelly in a Brooklyn courtroom after several of Kelly’s victims confronted the convicted sex offender aggressively during the hearing.

She reprimanded Kelly while sporting black mask, long-sleeved white blouse, and prison scrubs in an olive tone.

“You don’t give a damn. I stayed away from you and your music while choking back my terror. Your actions have permanently damaged my life

“You degraded me, humiliated me and broke my spirit,” said a woman, who went by Jane Doe No. 2. “I wished I would die because of how you degraded me.”

The victim recalled an incident when she was forced to perform oral sex on the music star “after you played basketball, in a car full of your friends.”

The victim stopped speaking momentarily when she saw Kelly speaking to one of his attorneys and sarcastically apologized: “I’m sorry, I don’t want to interrupt your conversation.

“You are an abuser, shameless, disgusting,” she added. “I hope you go to jail for the rest of your life. I feel sorry for you.”

Federal prosecutors had requested a sentence of more than 25 years in a letter to Donnelly earlier this month.

Prosecutors claimed in the memo and at trial that Kelly used a network of people who were close to him as well as his notoriety, wealth, and popularity to commit crimes.
