SISTA AFIA APOLOGIZES FOR CALLING EFIA ODO AN “INDUSTRY MACHINE”

Ghanaian musician Sista Afia has issued a heartfelt apology to media personality Efia Odo for referring to her as an “industry machine.” The singer admitted that her words were uncharacteristic and stemmed from frustration at the time.

Speaking on Kofas Media’s Girls Aloud podcast, Sista Afia expressed regret over her remarks, emphasizing that degrading another woman in such a manner was wrong.

This industry machine that I said—for now, I wish I didn’t say it. I apologize to her. All the things you see, adey have fun,” she said.

Sista Afia also touched on the origins of their feud, which dates back to when she shared the stage with Shatta Wale during a performance in London. According to her, Efia Odo was upset over the opportunity she had to perform alongside the dancehall star, which fueled tensions between them.

The musician’s apology has been seen as a step toward reconciliation, with fans hopeful that the two will bury the hatchet and move forward peacefully.
