“Certain people have deceived the leadership of the NPP in the Ashanti region to toe a certain line and support a particular candidate, and by the time they realize, they will deeply regret it,”oyerepaonline.com quoted him to have said in an interview on Oyerepa TV.

Questioning why a powerful and traditionally influential group like the Ashanti tribe in Ghana would allow themselves to be misguided in political matters, Adorye emphasized their significance.

“Which tribe is powerful in the country? The Ashantis are powerful traditionally, so definitely they don’t want them to be powerful in politics as well.

“They should think about it.”

Reflecting on the cultural hierarchy, Adorye remarked, “Which kingdom is more powerful than the Ashanti kingdom? I am an Ewe, but I can’t compare the Anlo kingdom to that of the Ashanti.

“Those leaders who never thought about their actions should sit down and rethink,” he added.
