President John Dramani Mahama has declared the forthcoming initiation of Her Excellency the Vice-President’s Empowerment Program for Women and Individuals with Disabilities later this year.
The program will aim to assist women, individuals with disabilities, and other marginalized groups by providing them with resources.
“This programme will build capacity and provide access to finance, ensuring that these groups have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the economy,” Mahama stated during his State of the Nation Address on Thursday, February 27.
The empowerment initiative aligns with the government’s wider goals to foster inclusivity and economic independence, providing focused assistance to those who require it the most.
