SPARE PARTS DEALERS ORDER PRICE REDUCTIONS AS CEDI STRENGTHENS
The Abossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association in the Greater Accra Region has directed its members to lower spare parts prices, pointing to the recent increase in the value of the Ghana cedi against the US dollar under the new leadership of John Dramani Mahama.
The choice aims to provide assistance to consumers and bolster the government’s initiatives to stabilize the prices of products and services across the country.
The Association praised the government for implementing courageous and firm measures to fortify the local currency and stabilise the overall economy.
“We pledge our full collaboration with the government to sustain this positive trend and ensure further appreciation of the Cedi, bringing much-needed economic relief to Ghanaians,” said the Chairman of the Association, Mr. Henry Okyere Jnr.
He additionally encouraged all members to adhere closely to the new price changes, strengthening their shared dedication to equitable pricing and market stability.
The Association is of the opinion that this action demonstrates its commitment to aiding national economic recovery and maintaining affordability for consumers.
