Controversial Entertainment pundit and artiste manager Lawrence Asiamah better known as Bullgod has named Afro-Dancehall/Reggae star Stonebwoy as Ghana’s current biggest music export.
Stonebwoy on Wednesday, October 24, 2024, officially unveiled his 6th album dubbed ‘Up & Running’ The album, which features the monster hit “Jejereje,” was unveiled at a glamorous listening party held at the Alora Beach Resort inside Laboma Beach in Accra.
While sharing his thoughts on the album, Bullgod mentioned that among other Ghanaian musicians gaining recognition on the global stage, Stonebwoy is currently the most prominent music ambassador for the country.
The divisive entertainment analyst and ex-handler of the self-proclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale, credited the ‘Manodzi’ hitmaker’s continuous hard work and the influence of his music on a national and international level for this.
“These days when we have to push our artistes…management needs clearance to push our artistes internationally, so far he is our biggest export… Others are trying but so far Stonebwoy is our biggest export”.
The star-studded event was attended by a host of celebrities, including former Shatta Wale manager Bullgod, actress Nadia Buari, TV personality Nana Ama Mcbrown, rapper Kwaw Kese, and musician D-Black.
