Veteran Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artiste and media personality Root Eye has praised Stonebwoy for his contributions to the music scene in and out of Ghana.
According to him, Stonebwoy is one of the greatest Ghanaian ambassadors for music.
Speaking in an interview with Hitz FM on August 29, 2024, Root Eye, whose real name is Kwesi Nyarko Ofei, praised Stonebwoy, referring to him as “Honourable Satekla,” for his role in elevating Ghanaian music on the global stage.
“I’ve stopped calling him Stonebwoy. I’m now calling him Honourable Satekla because, at the moment, he’s the greatest Ghanaian music ambassador. This man is taking us to places we never thought we’d reach,” he said.
Root Eye further expressed his admiration, stating, “If we have to be honest, he’s actually living the dreams that most of us had but couldn’t achieve. We’re living our dreams through this guy. So we cannot diminish his contribution or the role that he is playing for us at this moment.”
