Dancehall superstar, Stonebwoy known in real life as Livingstone Etse Satekla, has dragged music executive, artist manager and politician, Baba Sadiq to court for defaming comments he made about him on X.
In a writ filed in the High Court of Justice on May 21, 2024, the reigning 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Award ‘Artiste of the Year’ is asking the court to order Baba Sadiq to delete and render an unqualified apology for the offensive tweets.
Stonebwoy is also asking the court to award him damages of a Gh¢3million for the harm Baba Sadiq’s comments have caused to his reputation on the basis that Baba Sadiq acted maliciously and with intent to defame him with information which he knew was false.
