A recent remark by comedian Michael Blackson claiming there are only four music superstars in Ghana, as opposed to many in Nigeria, has angered Ghanaian music icon Fuse ODG.
In a recent interview on the well-known American podcast “Drink Champs,” where he introduced his recently signed talent, Michael Blackson said that unlike Nigeria, Ghana could only claim to have four (4) music superstars.
Listing the four Ghanaian superstars, Michael Blackson mentioned Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and Black Sheriff as the only superstars.
He wrote;
“Can’t forget @FuseODG ????????”
But, Fuse ODG was not amused by his comment pushing him to do better.
Michael Blackson’s statements on the show, according to Fuse ODG, were regrettable, especially considering that he (Fuse ODG) had introduced Michael to a number of Ghanaian artists.
He wrote;
“Mike…I don’t know how you go on @Drinkchamps and say there are only 4 artists in Ghana. Not cool bro. I’ve personally introduced u to a lot of GH artists in GH! smh. Stop embarrassing us on these platforms…you’re supposed to educate them.”
