HOPPING FROM ONE MAN TO THE OTHER, NO MAN IS PERFECT – Mercy Asiedu Advises Women

Ghanaian Kumawood actress Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu Agyemang Duah, popular in the showbiz industry, has recommended Ghanaian women remain faithful to one partner.

Some women often end their relationships or marriages suddenly because they think the new person they have feelings for is an improvement over their ex-husbands or boyfriends.

In light of this, the multi-talented Kumawood actress, during an interview with Emelia Brobbey on the Okukuseku Show, urged young women to work towards resolving conflicts with their partners instead of hastily making decisions they may later regret.

She added that each person has their flaws, stressing that perfection does not exist in anyone.

“There is no perfect man in this world. Every man has a fault or a negative attitude. You think the man you are living with is not the right person for you, and that will lead to a breakup. You leave him for a different person, and for all you know, the guy you left is even better and a Roman father than the person you’re currently in a relationship with. Every relationship or marriage has troubles,” she said.

The source of her guidance was her answer to how she has maintained her marriage for an extended time, demonstrating that the key to her successful marriage is patience.

Mercy Asiedu also stated that she would not behave in any inappropriate manner that could lead to the breakdown of her marriage. The day she will die is the day her marriage will end, she said.

“I have said to myself that in this marriage, the only time I will take my ring off is when I die. Even with that, my husband will be the one to take it off. This is because I don’t know what will make me leave my marriage. Maybe unless my husband runs away from me, but if he doesn’t, I am stuck with him,” she said.
