Sulley Muntari, a former midfielder for Hearts of Oak and Ghana, has finally revealed and said where he stands in his football career.
Ghanaian football player Suleyman Ali “Sulley” Muntari competes for Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.
He assisted Internazionale in winning the Serie A championship in 2008-09 and the Champions League in 2009-10 while he was there.
The 2010 Champions League champion played for Sunderland, Inter Milan, AC Milan, and English Premier League clubs Portsmouth.
The football player revealed that he has retired from football and won’t be playing for any teams in a recent interview on his career. He said that right now, helping the neighborhood teams is his top priority.
“I only spent a short time with the neighborhood team, Hearts of Oak. I was asked to play by my son. After almost three years without playing, my kid asked me to go and play. “I did it, but I’m finished now,” Muntari remarked.
“I don’t want to play football again, although sometimes I have the urge to play. When I joined the league last year, I wanted to help the young ones. I had a good time with Hearts of Oak. I don’t want to play any club or team, locally or internationally”, Sulley Muntari said in an interview with ace sports journalist, Dan Kweku Yeboah.
