Presidential Staffer, Nana Hesse Ogyiri has defended the invasion of UTV studios by individuals reportedly linked to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Saturday, October 7.

According to him, the NPP had previously submitted a petition to the station, expressing their concerns about the show. However, he claimed that the petition was disregarded.

In a Facebook post after the event, he wrote, “You??? You??? You are condemning the invitation of the studios? When the NPP wrote a petition to the station raising concerns about the show…….it was opening thorn into pieces on LIVE television. When persuasion fails, force is applied.”

This incident followed an alleged intrusion by a group of over a dozen individuals with ties to the ruling NPP into UTV studios on Saturday, October 7, 2023.

They disrupted the live broadcast of United Showbiz, demanding the whereabouts of A Plus, whom they were pursuing for disclosing a letter written to UTV management requesting reforms for United Showbiz.
