Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall musician Stonebwoy has disclosed that aside from the recognition and accolades, his most significant aim is to create a memorable legacy.
In an interview on AfroVibes in New York, he expressed that his goal is to create a legacy that endures beyond his lifetime.
“A good name is better than riches! That doesn’t mean riches are not good, but it’s just better to have a good name as well,” he shared.
Stonebwoy pondered on how icons like Bob Marley still impact the world via their families and the legacy they established.
“Look at Bob Marley—he has been gone physically for years, but his kids and grandkids are pushing the Marley name like never before. That’s what I want to leave behind.
“When the physical representation is not here, another body can assume that name and run it,” he explained.
