Kumawood actor and musician Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin has taken the TGMA organizers to task, previously known as VGMA.
Lilwin was conversing in an interview on Lawson FM with Papadat when he chose to call out the organization.
When questioned about his lack of recognition by the TGMA, actor Lilwin stated that the organization is not taken seriously.
Lilwin disclosed that he has produced several hit songs; at times, he can achieve more than one hit in a year, but he remains unacknowledged by the industry.
Lilwin asserts that contrary to the saying “who the cap fits must wear it,” the organizers of the TGMA give awards to those they are familiar with, neglecting those who put in significant effort.
In the meantime, the actor and producer revealed that he is unfazed by the lack of recognition from the TGMA organizers.
Lilwin states that receiving an award without any financial gain is pointless, thus as long as he earns money without TGMA, he is satisfied.
