Ghanaian media personality and fashion enthusiast, Kofi Okyere Darko simply called KOD has wondered why Naa Dromo, the daughter of Royal House Chapel founder, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah adopted the rainbow colours for her wedding reception as the rainbow colours is the flag colours for the LGBT community.
You would recall that Naa Dromo Korankye Ankrah over the weekend tied the knot with her lover, Dr. Charles Samuel Nana Nimo in a glamorous traditional and white wedding on Wednesday, July 7 and July 10, 2021 respectively.
Amid the praises some social media users heaped on Naa Dromo and her hubby at their wedding including members of Royalhouse Chapel church, others have questioned her fashion choice, especially during her wedding reception. Among critics include KOD, who seems to be confused about why Naa opted for colours that represents the LGBT community.
“The colours,” KOD commented under MC Nathaniel Attoh’s photos he shared from the wedding on his Instagram page.
“Rainbow colours,“The bride’s choice of wedding colours since childhood.”
“Apostle Sam Korankye-Ankrah took time to explain it after the church ceremony. That these rainbow colours existed way before the LGBT adopted it as a sign of identity, which is fact,” he added.
